What are the properties of flame yarn?
Flame Yarn is made by the air-jet texturing method. It is based on the principle of mixing and texturing filament yarns with the help of compressed air. In the air-jet texturing method, the yarns are sent to the air-jetd placed between the draft cylinders.
The yarns become crimped with the effect of compressed air flow in the turbulence area of the air-jet. Some of the yarns produced by this process have thicknesses, these thicknesses mean flame yarns. The yarns are transported from the air jet to the bobbin drum with the help of slow spinning draft cylinders.
